Evaluation
A careful history and focused examination of the knee — movement, stability, swelling and specific tests for ligaments and cartilage. X-rays or an MRI are arranged only when they change management.
Evaluation and management of knee problems with a clear, personalized plan at Dr Pavan's Orthocare.
The knee is one of the most stressed joints in the body, bearing weight while supporting walking, climbing, sitting and standing. Knee problems are common across all ages — from ligament injuries in young athletes to wear-and-tear arthritis in older adults. Our knee care service focuses on finding the exact cause of your complaint and addressing it appropriately.
A careful history and focused examination of the knee — movement, stability, swelling and specific tests for ligaments and cartilage. X-rays or an MRI are arranged only when they change management.
Most knee problems respond to a combination of medication, weight management, targeted exercises and activity modification. Where appropriate, injections may be discussed, and surgical referral is made only when genuinely indicated.
Note: A swollen, locked or severely unstable knee after an injury should not be ignored. Persistent knee symptoms deserve proper evaluation rather than long periods of self-treatment.
Clear explanations, practical plans and a Turkayamjal location that makes follow-up simple.
Seek care if knee pain lasts more than two weeks, is associated with swelling, locking, giving way, or limits daily activities.
Evaluation includes a detailed history and a physical examination of the knee, with X-ray or other imaging arranged only when needed.
Many knee problems improve with medication, physical therapy and activity modification. Surgery is only recommended when genuinely appropriate.
